Ameta Brahmins - A Community in Hindu Religion
Ameta is caste in Brahmins. This is one of the highest brahmin caste in Hindu religion. Many scholars called this community as "Childrens of god". This caste comes in general category.
There are some religious customs and myths in this religion.
There are many peoples of ameta brahmins which lives at different places. However, ametas lives mostly at specific areas of India. In the north, Rajasthan, and then in Gujarat. Later, it also spreads to south India and other places by the account of job or business.
One of the most popular tradition of ameta brahmin community is that they have strong faith in God. They visit temples, and pray to god. They follow Lord shiva, Vishnu and many more. And, visiting Jyotirlingas and tirth yatra is also considered as holy things in this community. However, there are some bad things that exists. These are Indian traditions and culture that almost every community follow. So, there is no difference in it.
